⚽💥 🥅When I was originally asked to design something for this area so that the local local children had somewhere to play football, my initial reaction was, 'Mmmm bit restricted on space & it's on a ruddy great slope!'.
However, once I got to site, I realised that there was something that could be done.
As in independent company, we work with a host of different suppliers. This is brilliant as it allows the option of choosing exactly what is right for each project.
In this case, the original plan was to only put goal ends in place. Which was agreed by the council.
They asked though if it would be possible to connect them if additional funds were provided.
So, the necessary panels were priced & agreed.
Working with a local groundworker & installers who know this equipment inside out helped the job to run smoothly with very little hiccups.
The colour scheme even matches the safety surface of the adjacent play area.
It's attention to detail & great comms with client, supplier & install teams that make projects like this a pleasure to work on.
So, now the children of Newtown will be able to spend all Summer holidays breaking it in!
