What a response I have had since announcing my semi retirement - many thanks to all for the lovely messages-I really felt guilty about making the announcement as I felt that I was letting our customers down - One of my main concerns was for the First Year Apprentice that has just successfully completed his first year at college and was the only one in the whole year to have passed first time -thankfully, I have managed to get another local electrical contractor to take him on so he can complete his Apprenticeship- Since my announcement I have had many requests for consultancy work. A client has just dropped off a crate of Beer abd and a card with a message that brought a tear to my eye 🥲

As we reach our 40th Year in Business, I have decided its time for me to hang up my boots and retire from Yorkshire Electrical Services.

Yorkshire Electrical Services has been a way of life for me over the past 31 Years and I have loved the job (Most of the time)

It is with great sadness that I have decided to dissolve the company with a voluntary Liquidation.

I've worked long hours throughout my working life but now I feel that the time has come to Focus on enjoying more time with my family, pursue my hobbies and take a proper holiday where I don't have to worry about what's happening at work.

Following my retirement from Yorkshire Electrical Services, I will offer a Consultancy Service for 2 - 3 days each week where I will offer Advise and produce reports on electrical installations and provide a full design service.

I would offer my heartfelt thanks to those who have supported me and the business over the years and to all the engineers past and present who made it possible. What a Great Team we had.
