Quarry Mechanical / Plant Maintenance Engineer – Full Time
📍 Halifax, West Yorkshire
We are looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join our team in a busy working quarry. This is a full-time position for someone who is confident working across a range of machinery and enjoys a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on a variety of quarry machinery
- Looking after and servicing stone saws and cutting equipment
- Maintenance and basic repairs on forklifts and plant machinery
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring minimal downtime
- General upkeep of machinery to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience
- Ability to work on multiple types of machines
- Experience with quarry, plant, or heavy machinery preferred
- Welding/fabrication skills (beneficial but not essential)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
