Our interior designer and the other half of Mia James, looks after all things interiors and staging. From initial concepts to the final finishing touches, she works closely with clients to make sure every detail is considered, even the ones most people wouldn’t think twice about!

Safe to say this kitchen understood the assignment… 👀

This client had recently completed a new extension, and wanted to create a kitchen area that not only made the most of the room, but was the heart of the home.

We designed and installed a completely bespoke kitchen for the room, making sure every inch worked for how the family actually lives day to day.

The built-in banquette seating might be our favourite feature, fully upholstered and made to measure so it fits the space perfectly. It’s the kind of spot that ends up being used for everything!

We also installed the flooring and took care of the electrical works, managing the whole project from the first ideas through to the final install.

Proof that when the layout is right, a kitchen becomes so much more than just a kitchen. 🏡

Some more snaps of the beautiful Barry Rise transformation... 🌿

We completely transformed this space from the ground up, removing over 120 tonnes of soil and installing retaining walls, bespoke decking, planters, a water feature, full electrics, and lighting. With 60% of the area tiled, the result is both practical and beautifully finished.

Thoughtful landscaping brought structure, flow, and balance, turning an ordinary space into a place you’ll never want to leave. 🏡

Renovating while still living at home can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to. 🏡

When we’re working on a property that’s still occupied, we make it a priority to leave everything clean and tidy at the end of every single day. Tools packed away, walkways clear, dust kept to a minimum.

You shouldn’t have to come home after a long day and feel like you’re stepping onto a building site. We respect that it’s your home first, and we do everything we can to minimise disruption while the work is underway.

Being part of the transformation at the Science and Industry Museum is something we’ll always be incredibly proud of...🏠

This isn’t just any building, it’s a place so many of us visited as kids. And to return years later as the team trusted to help shape part of its future felt very special.

Working within such a historic space meant respecting every detail, while carefully introducing modern elements to create over 700sqm of flexible exhibition space. It was about blending 250 years of innovation with today’s technology - without losing the character that makes the building so iconic.

Delivering the project during a challenging period globally made it even more meaningful. It took dedication, collaboration, and a lot of care to ensure it was completed on time and to the highest standard.

As a Manchester-based company, doing this in our own city meant a lot. Knowing hundreds of thousands of visitors will experience the space each yea, and that we played a small part in its next chapter, is something we’ll never take for granted!

When you’re repairing a deep hole before painting, it’s tempting to just grab some filler and smooth it over… but that’s where problems start.

If the hole has depth, it needs proper support first. We’ll usually fill it with expanding foam or a two-part structural filler to build it up properly, then finish with a general-purpose filler to get that smooth surface ready for paint.

If you skip that first step, the paint might look fine at the start… but give it time and you’ll often see flaking or those annoying hairline cracks creeping through.

Good decorating isn’t just about the final coat, it’s about what’s underneath. Get that right, and the finish will actually last. 👌

This staircase transformation is officially underway! 🎨

The project will see completely new stairs, panelling either side, wrought iron spindles and updated handrails, all coming together to dramatically change the feel of the entrance hallway.

These photos show just the very beginning, but once everything’s in place, the impact will be huge. A staircase isn’t just functional, it’s what sets the tone the moment you walk through the door.

We can’t wait to share more updates as this one takes shape! 📏
