Today I learnt of one of my customers sadly passing away earlier this month and their family has been in contact to ask for their details to be removed from my auto reminders list as they'd received a reminder.
This is sadly the second customer sadly lost this year and I take these losses very personally as my customers mean such alot to me.

If you do happen to find one of my emails in a loved one's inbox please do not hesitate to get intouch so I can amend the options and stop you receiving any unwanted emails.
Also in some instances house sales require previous history of work/service/maintenance and I'm more than happy to resend any of the relevant certificates on to yourselves. Again please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Week of servicing this week for The Gas Lass. The diary is filling up now as we head into the height of summer so don't hesitate to get intouch if you're needing your gas appliances serviced! School holidays will soon be upon us which means less availability.

Here are some recent before and after's... can you spot the problems?

Reposting this as it's all still very good/relevant information! 🔥

Rubbish at this social media lark. However my eldest daughter (the boss) informs me I am lacking so I have given her free rein. So watch this space...

A quick question for you? When was the last time you had your gas fire serviced? 🔥

Drop me a message to get booked in today!

Does your Gas fire look as nice as this?? Serviced by myself today but it made me think about carbon monoxide alarms as this customer had one but its was in the hall way.
Open flued appliances (like gas fires) are probably the least checked appliances yet can potentially be the most dangerous.. if you keep your gas fire for 'emergencies' how do you know it is safe to use in that emergency? The very minimum safety precaution would always be a carbon monoxide detector.. not just in the hall or near the boiler but one in the room in which the open flued appliance is situated.. and no the patches that change colour don't work.. you cant see something change colour if your already affected by CO.. it needs to be an audible alarm, 🚨 like a smoke alarm and that way if carbon monoxide levels do start to build your alerted well before it's too late!
Did you know, they also have expiry dates on them so if you think you've had one for longer than 7 years it's likely you need a new one!
Scary stuff but better to be safe!

Been a while since I've posted but just wanted to let my regulars know I'm heading on our holibobs (🛫🏖️☀️) Weds 16th July untill Friday 25th July so won't be available.
If you are wanting to get booked in for services or any work before autumn/weather cools now really is the time as my diary soon fills up in August due to limited availability during school holidays!
Hope your all enjoying summer so far 😊

Just a polite reminder to customers, if a known fault is in existence and I come to carry out a service, a service may not repair said fault. It will however ensure that everything is safe and clean (and when I say clean I don’t mean a couple of shrivelled up bee’s and spiders removed from the bottom of the case, I mean clean emmisions, injectors, filters etc) and to rule out the basics.
Refusing to pay for a service because the fault still stands is not how it works!
Sometimes I feel like giving up! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ok 2024 let’s have you!!
Diary filling up fast for January,
Unfortunately my prices will be going up as of 1st Feb to come closer to the local average (I’ve been told I’m too cheap and massively undercutting most other engineeers) and due to increasing running costs.. it’s not something I wanted to do really but I value my own work and hope you can see the value in it too!
Hope 2024 is a good year for us all 🤞🏼

Got myself a little apprentice today.. 🔧
