Sad news💔😢
I’m sure many of you will remember Ian from his time as a Tanker Driver.

Sincere condolences to Rachel & their family 🖤

Peacefully, at home in Friockheim, on Monday, June 8 2026, Ian (Westy), aged 59, much loved and devoted husband of Rachel, loving dad to Kyle and step-dad to Scott, dear son to Les and Doreen, loving brother to Sandra, Lesley and Michael, brother-in-law to Lar, Neil, Grace, Aaron and Steph, devoted uncle, nephew and dear son-in-law to Fiona and Ron. Ian was a great friend to many and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Ian's life will take place on Monday, June 22 2026, at 12.30 p.m., in George Stewart Funeral Directors, Chapel of Rest, Millgate Loan, Arbroath, thereafter to Friockheim Cemetery Extension, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but if desired, donations in lieu will be gratefully accepted on the day for Macmillan Nurses.
