Every house has a story.
While stripping back this old wall, we uncovered a message left behind by a family who once called this place home.
"Decorated by Sam Cartwright and wife Eileen – 2nd August 1977."
It made us stop for a moment.
Someone stood here nearly 50 years ago, putting their time, effort, and pride into creating a home for their family with the means they had. Those walls witnessed birthdays, Christmases, laughter, difficult days, and everyday moments that turned a house into a home.
After years of standing empty, this house is getting a second chance.
It's a privilege to be part of that journey—bringing it back to life so another family can fill these rooms with memories of their own.
Sometimes, it's not just about renovating a property. It's about respecting the people who came before us while building something for those who come next.
