🏌️‍♂️ REACT Project: Final round complete… onto the 15th hole!

To celebrate wrapping up REACT, Team Olsights swapped dashboards for drivers at Putt In The Park, Gunnersbury ⛳️

Strong start from Max with his one-handed technique… but a mid-round Hati 🐶 distraction saw him lose the lead 👀

Cool, calm and clinical — Emmanuel stepped up and took the win with a putting masterclass 🏆

🏆 Leaderboard:
🥇 Emmanuel
🥈 Max
🥉 Tony
4️⃣ Rosie
5️⃣ Tanisha
6️⃣ Aashna

Rematch already called… Tanisha vs Tony is ON 💪🔥

Great to celebrate an exciting milestone with the team — now onto what’s next 🚀

We’re excited to share that Olsights has completed a feasibility study exploring a potential new use case at the London Museum of Water & Steam.

As part of the major renovation of the historic Great Engine House, we’ve been looking at how this iconic site could also demonstrate elements of the energy transition in practice.

Our concept explores capturing carbon emissions from the museum’s heritage steam infrastructure and combining them with green hydrogen from a potential micro-wind installation to produce a synthetic e-fuel for use on site, including within the Diesel House where is based during colder periods.

With significant restoration works already underway, the timing presents a unique opportunity to consider how modern clean energy systems might be thoughtfully integrated into a landmark of industrial heritage.

Following this initial feasibility work, a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study is now being considered with early-stage discussions indicating it could be fully funded through the UK Infrastructure Decarbonisation & Heritage Fund.

“This work is about connecting past and future energy systems in a meaningful way,” said Tony Griffiths, CEO of Olsights. “The Great Engine House renovation creates a rare opportunity to explore how heritage assets could play a role in the transition to lower-carbon fuels, while continuing to engage and educate visitors.”

It’s an interesting reminder that the energy transition isn’t just about new infrastructure it’s also about how we reimagine and repurpose what already exists.

🌍 Celebrating International Women’s Day

The energy transition won’t succeed without diverse thinking and new perspectives.

Solving one of the world’s most complex challenges requires talent from across engineering, data, technology and business.

At Olsights, we’re proud that 50% of our team are women, helping to build digital tools that turn complex global energy data into clear energy intelligence.

Our co-founder Rosie Griffiths, a process engineer with deep experience in energy systems and optimisation, has helped shape the vision behind Olsights since day 1.

Alongside her, Aashn and Tanisha are both vital parts of the team transforming complex global energy datasets into insights that help organisations navigate the rapidly evolving clean energy landscape.

Together they are helping turn data into clarity to support better decisions across hydrogen, carbon capture, power infrastructure and the wider energy transition.

Having a diverse team brings different perspectives, creativity and ways of thinking, helping us approach challenges from new angles and develop better solutions.

The transition to a low-carbon future will require engineers, data specialists, analysts and innovators and it will be stronger with more women helping to shape the future of energy intelligence. Everyday, not just International Women’s Day.

This we reflects on why Olsights chose to become a Certified B Corp.

From the very beginning, we believed that building a company supporting the energy transition also meant building a business that operates responsibly — with strong governance, consideration for people and a commitment to the environment.

Becoming a B Corp helped shape how we work, ensuring that our values are embedded in the way we grow and make decisions.

As we begin the process of recertification, it’s also an opportunity to reassess how we operate and continue improving — because behind the B is a commitment to doing better.

Visited the new ETZ EnergyWorks Innovation Campus this afternoon — thanks to David Wilson for the tour.

What’s striking is how deliberately it has been positioned inside the Energy Transition Zone: adjacent to offshore, hydrogen and manufacturing capability, and supported by ETZ, bp, Scottish Enterprise, NMIS and NZTC.

For companies working on the system-level challenges of energy transition, there’s real value in being physically present within the cluster — not just visiting for events, but operating from within the ecosystem.
Impressive low-carbon build, generous light and a strong sense of intent.

Interesting to see how Altens is reshaping itself around the next phase of energy development.

Your biggest grid risk isn’t your project.
It’s the system around it ⚡

Most grid risks don’t show up at a single site.
They come from the queue you’re joining.

REACT helps teams see the full picture early:
• interactive areas & zones
• technology filters
• live capacity totals
• project timelines
• CP30 context
• heat maps & clusters

Better decisions start with system-level insight.
