🎉 Happy !

As we wrap up the day, we couldn’t think of a better opportunity celebrate our brilliant team here in Pencoed (we hope you will forgive our not-so-subtle brag 🙏 )

In these photos you can meet just a few of the faces behind what we do.

The full team? It consists of ~630 people who are the driving force of our business - some of them joined this week, while others have been part of the journey for 45 years. Together, they are the heart of our success and the reason we have been proudly manufacturing in Wales for more than 50 years.

Every day, their knowledge, resilience, passion and skill bring high quality products to thousands of people worldwide. To us, they reflect the very best qualities of UK manufacturing.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate our team - and all the talented manufacturing teams across the UK who keep our industry moving forward!

🎉 The numbers are in! Recently, members of our team completed a 50km (~30 miles) charity walk in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support ...

With the fundraiser now closed, we are pleased to announce that we raised a total of *£7,000* for this worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who donated, and to our generous sponsors Raspberry Pi, Rebound Electronics and Vital Electronics Limited who helped us reach this number. A special thank you also goes out to Laura Sampson from Macmillan Cancer Support who visited our site in Pencoed and joined a small part of our team to commemorate the donation!

Our charitable efforts will continue tomorrow, this time in support of our nominated charity - the Children's Ward at the Princess of Wales Hospital - Ysbyty Tywysoges Cymru in Bridgend. We will be joined by customers, suppliers, partners and friends of the facility for our annual Charity Golf Day event at The Celtic Manor Resort. Watch this space for an update from the day!

Approximately 10 hours and 50km (~30 miles) later, our team of almost 60 people successfully completed this year's charity walk from Porthcawl to Barry Island in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support - a cause chosen by our team players.

But now for the most important number - the money raised towards the cause have exceeded our original target and we are now at £3,296!🎉Thank you to everyone for your kind donations and support.

That's not all - thanks to our generous sponsors Raspberry Pi, Rebound Electronics and Vital Electronics Limited, this number is projected to grow even further. We are keeping the link open for two more weeks, so watch this space for the final announcement at the end of August.

This Saturday over 60 members of our team will be taking part in a 30-mile (50km!) charity walk from Porthcawl to Barry Island in aid of Macmillan
Cancer Support - a cause chosen by our team players.

This year's challenge is kindly sponsored by our friends at Raspberry Pi, Rebound Electronics and Vital Electronics Limited. Thanks to their support and other generous donations, we're already over halfway to our fundraising target!

Over the past 2 years we have made our way across the Welsh coastline for charity, with this year's walk marking our longest distance to cover to date. Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that's dear to the hearts of many of our team members, and it will be a privilege to raise funds for this amazing cause.

Watch this space for an update next week on the final amount raised, and some photos of our beautiful Welsh scenery.

Last week we had the pleasure of joining the inspiring One Sony International Women’s Day event, hosted at Sony Music Entertainment in London, focused on this year's IWD theme "Give to Gain".

We heard form an amazing panel of accomplished women and leaders from across Sony globally. This year's theme “Give to Gain” emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support, so is a powerful moment to reflect on how we can all contribute to building more inclusive and supportive workplaces. While the day celebrates the achievements of women, it’s also a reminder of the value of allyship, collaboration, and progress that benefits everyone.

With IWD now behind us, the celebration shouldn’t stop there. Real progress happens when we carry these conversations forward every day of the year— let’s keep the momentum going!
