Company Statement
We are aware of reports that a member of our staff has today been arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity involving a minor.
The allegations are of an extremely serious nature. As soon as we became aware of this matter, the individual’s employment was immediately terminated, they have been removed from all sites, and all access to company systems and property has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
We wish to make our position absolutely clear: we have zero tolerance for any behaviour that puts children or vulnerable people at risk. Safeguarding, welfare, and professional conduct are of the highest priority to our organisation.
All employees are appointed in line with our formal employment procedures, which include appropriate background screening and DBS checks. At the time of employment, and throughout their time with the company, there have been no known concerns, disclosures, or indicators of this nature. We wish to make it clear that this individuals behaviour was not know to the company prior to this evenings events.
We wish to inform the public that we will cooperate fully with the relevant authorities and are supporting their enquiries in every way required.
As this is an active police investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further. Our focus remains on maintaining the highest safeguarding standards and protecting the trust of our customers, partners, and the wider community.
