Business trip succesfull!
This year we also went to Isle of Man for famous TT. Rich was working with Crowes and Paul was helping newcomers Ross and Adam who were racing bike Paul built few years ago.
They both worked hard, but it was worth it! Crowes won both sidecar races, did new sidecar lap record and Ross/Adam succesfully qualified, had a very good first race and learnt a lot.
There were also few other sidecars with Lumley engineering dry sump system, which made us happy (e.g. Lee Crawford who finished 3rd in both races) . What we were very sorry about was Pete Founds' crash in practice, but hopefully he will be back soon and stronger.
Bracken was with us, too, and he was making everyone around him happy 🙂

Testing in Spain
At the February, Richard went to Spain to test sidecars with Crowes and Craig Curry. It all happened on Andalucia circuit. Three bikes were tested, two of them should compete on TT this year. And of course, Lumley engineering did work on them. Exciting!

We are still here, still making bits.
These are some of the ones we do for our customer in France, that makes shock absorbers. 🙂

Winner again! 🙂
Second sidecar race of this year's TT is over, and we have 2 sidecars with our dry sump system on the podium! Crowes have a second win and Dave Molyneux is 3rd! And we are so proud of Ricki to be a part of it! 🙂

We are very happy at Lumley engineering, because first sidecar race at TT went very well for the teams we are involved with. 🙂
Ricki is now the mechanic of TT winners! (yes, Crowes won!) and we are all so proud of him 🙂

Lumley Engineering at TT 🙂
Here we are, at Isle of Man. Practice week is over, and we are so happy, that the team, that Ricki has done a lot for, was the fastest in sidecar qualifying! (The Crowes!). First race soon! And Bracken has become very good paddock dog! 🙂

We moved!
It happened! We moved to a bit bigger building. (same industrial estate, Unit 16 now) It is still a bit chaotic here, but we here we are, moved and running! Here are some photos from the new place and the process of moving big machines. You are welcome to come and see us here :-)

Rich went to France with the Crowes to test their bike (that has our dry sump system in it :-)) and they are fast!

New lovely engine plates added to our customer's sidecar. Anodized turqouoise as requested. The bike is getting finished to start a new racing season soon. 🙂

BSA A10 Leading Links Forks
We had this beautiful 1954 sidecar in our workshop to improve its steering. Bike is used used for touring in the summer months. Leading link forks were fitted, this will enable the wider handlebars to be removed, replacing with standard bars thanks to the greatly reduced steering effort.
