Since blacksmith William Kelland formed the original company more than 150 years ago in 1858, Kellands as it was formerly known, was committed to offering a wide range of quality agricultural machinery with an excellent back up service. This commitment steadily earned Kellands a solid reputation and enabled it to build up a base of loyal customers, resulting in a large volume of repeat
business. Kellands (Plant sales) Ltd was formed some years later in 1950, covering the entire South West of England it became a specialist supplier of new & used plant and machinery for use in construction, demolition, civil engineering, and road building projects. Today, Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd is proud to represent some of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in the world as main dealers including Develon, NC Engineering, Merlo, Avant, Leguan, Prodem and Fairport, with full responsibility for all sales, parts, service, and warranty work. Our Area Sales Managers still look after the entire South West, covering the counties of Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, and Gloucester and more recently the South East, covering Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Isle of White, Greater London, Surrey, Kent, Middlesex, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. Although times have changed significantly, the original commitment made by William Kelland all those years ago, still remains the main focus of what we do here at Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd today.
