Bathroom refurbishment carried out in worthing.

After a damp smell was smelt in this bathroom, upon further inspection showed that it was a leaking main stop c**k. This was behind the boxing on the right hand side. To get to this the tiles would have to come off and holes made in the boxing to get to it.

The customer wanted a new bathroom anyway so it was all ripped out and to be started again.

Once the rip out was done it was revealed that there was damaged to some.of the joists so these were replaced and new floor boards installed.

The toilet, sink and towel rail were also repositioned.

New tiles all round, shower tray and shower were also installed.

Much nicer 👍

Customer kept complaining that they kept hitting there head on these lights. So no problem. I will put some wall lights ...

Walls chased out, new cables run in and chases filled. Once they have been rubbed down it will be ready for paint.

Small patio in Worthing.

Originally there was a small shed on this area so I demolished this and cleared the area to expose the land this patio was to be installed on.

Area cleared of old slabs and debris. Was the dug out and type 1 mot put down and compacted. A sleeper raised border installed and reclaimed slabs were used.

A fence was installed behind to cover the neighbours shrubs and to keep the dog in the garden.

A water butt was added at a later date to collect water from the garage roof for gardening.

Made this area usable again for summer.

Loft boarded in Gosport.

Job was to board the loft and add lighting to make the loft usable.

Boards raised up from the rafters and insulation put down before loft boards were added.

Ladder also installed. But because of the way the loft hatch was originally installed a concertina ladder was installed as it was the only ladder compact enough to use the space .

Kitchen rip out and reinstall install in Camberley.

Following a leak on a washing machine that was not detected for months. It resulted in major damage to the floor boards and joists.

So I ripped the kitchen out as well as floor boards to expose the area. The room was then sealed off and a dehumidifier and air blower put in until it had dried as much as possible.

New joists were installed where necessary and new floor boards put down.

Once that was done. New lino was installed along with new cabinets, worktop, appliances etc. The washing machine was relocated to the position shown. To shorten the length of waste pipe (this is what was causing the leak in the first place)

Then once done was tiled. Made a small space inviting and usable again.

Ensuite bathroom refreshed in Shoreham.

Total rip out and reinstall new shower, vanity unit and toilet. Boxing was built around the toilet and a concealed cistern installed so the customer could gain some storage above the toilet. Plus it looks neater.

Bathroom cabinet was kept but repainted to save some money.

Shower cubical rebuilt and a niche installed for shower gels and shampoo storage.

Downlights added to brighten the area up.

Finally painted brilliant white to give it anew fresh feel.

Mains meter cupboard tidy up and up grade in London.

Due to the doors of this meter cupboard being broken and the electrics being g expose to the elements for a number of years. The switch fuses that power the flats were going rusty and could potentially cause a hazard. So the doors were replaced to make it water tight again and the old switch fuses replaced along with new Trunking lid to tidy it up and make it look new again.

Bathroom refurbishment carried out near Portsmouth. Total rip out and start again on this dated bathroom. The customer wanted to keep the bath as it wasn't too old, But the rest came out.

Tiled floor and fully tiled walls. New shower vanity unit and also added a chrome towel rail.

Big job this one. Flat refurbishment following a leak from the roof in Brighton. Once the damp issues were sorted via a 3rd party contractor I was tasked with putting it all back together and make it livable again.

The loft room has been left for years and used as a dumping ground. So that was cleared out and given a new lease of life.
2 Velux windows were installed giving much needed natural light. All the old cupboards doors were removed as they were not done correctly in the first place and were very drafty. The eves areas were then fully insulated with 300mm of insulation as well as kingspan insulation installed in the old areas where the cupboard doors were.

A spiral staircase was installed to allow access. It was then painted along with new carpets.

The downstairs a new handrail and bannister was installed as the old one was damaged when the 3rd party contractor did the rip out. The staircase, bedrooms and living room were then fully painted and carpeted.

The original wood window was rotten in the kitchen area, so it was removed and a few UPVC window installed eliminating the draft and condensation that was originally coming through.

At the end an EICR was issued to make sure all electrics were safe and any upgrades were done where needed to comply with current regulations.

Turned out nice and is now let back out to some happy tenants.
