This Georgian waistcoat was captured in our rig so Henfield Museum could share it online in 3D to extend the reach of one of the famous pieces in their collection.

"Undoubtedly one of the finest items in the collection, this elaborately decorated silk satin waistcoat dates from the zenith of an extravagant era in gentlemen’s fashion. ‘Worn by Bishop Wilberforce’ - a single piece of intriguing provenance that came with the piece. Whether it belonged to famed abolitionist William Wilberforce in his wild Grand Touring youth, as well as his Bishop son or grandson, will likely remain an open question."

New England House (our HQ and that of many other businesses and artists) is being forced to closed due to intolerable fire risks, displacing hundreds of Brighton's top creatives.

It seems that the risks have been known by the council for years and they have not taken the necessary action.

New England House is not only a workspace but a thriving community of artists that collaborate and cross-pollinate. It is very sad and unsettling news for us all, especially as this kind of light industrial space is incredibly hard to find in our city now.

scanning is an amazing tool for creating sculptural artworks.

We have a full body capture photogrammetry rig in our Brighton studio and have worked on numerous sculptural projects that have appeared nationally and internationally.

Once the 3D digital model is created it can be used for conceptual visualisation, as well as physical creation, from 3D printing and mould making, up to bronze casting. The models can also be scaled from miniatures all the way up to beyond real world. See the images for examples.

Here is a 3D printed pregnancy sculpture from a 3D scan of a lovely mum to be.

The process involves a photo session in our studio with our bespoke camera system, then the images are used to create a perfect 3D model of mother and bump.

We 3D print the sculpture and can finish it in a variety of styles (or even cast it into bronze)
