Some pics from a recent job in Downend . We dabbed thermal boards on a cold wall at the back of a through lounge in Bromley Heath . This will keep the heat in the room when the weather isn’t as nice as we’re getting at the moment ie all those dark horrible winter days and nights . Removed bumpy / loose / failed plaster from an area where a chimney had been removed and re plaster flat . Because you wouldn’t want to trust plastering over 70 years old ceilings with goodness knows how many layers of goodness knows what we overboarded with 12.5 mm plasterboard, knowing 100% we can trust it to last at least another 70 years ! Then it was simple , PVA the walls and skim to smooth finish. The lovely customer is really happy with the work so far , just awaiting new window at the front bay before applying ing thermal boards and plaster … Frost Plastering for all your plastering needs 👍
