It’s that time of year again and another successful annual ‘Brandwells Big Fish Off’ was held at Walrow Lakes, Highbridge.

Thank you to Highbridge Angling Association and Bryan Webb for the use of their amazing facilities, all the effort in setting us up for the weekend and for their warm welcome and kind hospitality.

A great weekend was had by all, with fine weather, a few ‘cold soft drinks’ 🍻, amazing food and plenty of fish captures.

Once again it was great to see the site staff from all over the regions taking part and socialising on the bank together and making new friendships, enjoying themselves and taking some downtime from work.

Well done to all the winners, all those that managed to catch and especially those that have attended in the past and managed their first fish this year!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darrell Cox, a long-standing member of the Brandwells family. Darrell dedicated 38 years of his working life to our company and was deeply respected by colleagues and clients alike.

His infectious laugh, friendly smile, and kind spirit will be truly missed by all who knew him. Darrell fought a lengthy but brave battle with cancer, and his strength and positivity were an inspiration to us all. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, family, and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Darrell - you will always be remembered with fondness and admiration.
