New update on our Horfield rear extension project. Apologies you didn't get any progress videos between footings & roof, but progress has been good.
So, walls are up (mostly), roof is on & we're ready to felt, battens & fit the velux windows. Then we'll pull off site for a day to let the brickies bring up the gables & bricks on the back face up to soffit levels.
Then we're ready for roof tiles & internal 1st fix.
We'll keep you posted!

Quick update on our Horfield rear extension project. Things sometimes don't go quite as according to plan. However, to adapt & overcome is all part of the process. We're happily moving forward again.
Brickies have been in & the lower block courses have already been started since I recorded this video, so we'll have another update shortly. 🏠

Nice little truss roof on this side extension. We cut in the hip & jack rafters rather than using prefabricated to give it that extra strength & it's just a finer detail. The homeowners opted for a continuous canopy running along the front of the property also, which was a lovely detail & a nice little job for the lads to cut in.
We love a cut roof!!
