Completed Project: 📍 Bishopston

This project showcases exactly what we do at Oakley Green—delivering complete home transformations from start to finish.

We managed every aspect of this renovation, from the construction of a high-pitched glazed side extension, featuring a striking front glass gable and a three-panel aluminium bifold door, to the structural wall removal that created one spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, flooded with natural light.

Our in-house kitchen designer worked closely with the clients to create a bespoke kitchen tailored to their lifestyle, before our team supplied and installed it to the highest standard. By combining the build and kitchen under one roof, every detail was considered from the outset, resulting in a space that feels cohesive, functional and beautifully finished.

Project complete in 📍 Salford

We completed a full unit replacement on this characterful cottage. Rather than keeping the original look, our clients wanted the contrast of industrial-style bars paired with an almost fully glazed roof, with the exception of two solid panels on either side of the room to create more subtle lighting against the original stone walls.

The bifold doors allow the room to fully open up in the summer, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor living space.

The finished space feels cosy yet with a modern twist, while still complementing the character and charm of the original cottage.

Progress photos of one of our current jobs in 📍Saltford

This conservatory originally had an old glass roof with wooden windows and two sets of patio doors on the front elevation, which in the summer months was unbearable to sit in.

We’ve removed the entire roof and front section and installed a new upgraded glass roof featuring anthracite industrial-style bars, along with a 5-panel bifold door to the front. This will allow the space to be completely opened up during the summer months.

We’re loving how it’s coming together so far — the industrial-style detailing looks incredible against the character of the cottage, giving it a perfect blend of modern design and traditional charm.

Completed project in Easton ✨

Instead of the classic side-return extension on this Victorian terrace — which would have required extensive structural work and significantly increased costs — we transformed this kitchen by creating a small rear extension and removing the wall. This has created a much better sense of flow through the new kitchen, along with a new dining area filled with natural light and better connected to the garden.

Extra tall height Cashmere Kitchen furniture with white sparkle quartz worktops provides our client the perfect base for them to introduce their style into the new space. The design has been carefully considered to ensure a functional working kitchen that doesn’t compromise on the feeling of openness, or the natural light gained.

A kitchen renovation we recently completed in Southville ✨

This project involved removing the wall between the existing galley kitchen and dining room (see before pics) to create a bright open-plan kitchen diner, with a new lantern skylight in the roof and new glazing to include a single door from the kitchen and a 3-part bifold in the dining area, flooding the space with natural light and connecting to the garden.

One of the biggest advantages of this renovation was that we were able to retain the existing kitchen position and services, transforming what was once a closed-off galley kitchen into an open and inviting space — while still keeping the kitchen as its own defined area.

Our kitchen designer, Tom, worked closely with the clients to create this beautiful flat slab kitchen in a smooth Tuscan Red finish, with full-height 2300mm cabinetry for a sleek, contemporary feel.

Big transformation underway in Bishopston ✨

We’ve so far demolished the existing smaller side extension (swipe to the last photo to see the before) and replaced it with a full-glass, high-pitched side extension that now squares off the rear of the house.

Extensive Structural works have also allowed us to remove the walls between the separate kitchen, dining room, and new extension — creating one large open-plan kitchen/diner filled with natural light, transforming a space that once lacked it.

We’re managing the entire project from start to finish, including the kitchen design and installation — swipe to see our kitchen designers’ renders.

Completed Project – Hanham ✨

Our clients approached us looking to transform their existing full-width polycarbonate conservatory into a more functional and modern living space—without the cost of a full rebuild.

By replacing the original roof and frames with a high-pitched solid roof and incorporating full-length roof glazing, we created a brighter, more energy-efficient environment. Structural alterations allowed us to open up the space from the lounge, positioning the dining area within the new extension to enhance flow and usability.

The redesigned layout also features a bespoke kitchen integrated into the open-plan space. The bar sits within the new kitchen opening, creating an open-plan feel and maximising light into the kitchen while still maintaining a sense of separation.

We also introduced a dedicated utility area to maximise functionality.

Every element of this project was carefully considered and designed by Oakley Green, from spatial planning through to the kitchen installation—delivering a cohesive, modern home transformation.
