It’s getting brighter!🙏😁
After the wet, dull week it’s been we thought we would brighten it up a little. Here is a look at the finished external wall insulation (EWI)
Job that took place a couple of weeks ago.
We added kingspan k5 kooltherm insulation, a fully meshed base coat was applied finished in breathable silicone render. The original stone window sills were extended with insulation and rendered, We also capped the parapet walls and new insulation with a grp system.💪 The fresh render made the rest of the house look a little worse for wear so the plastics were cleaned and the house painted in colour matched silicone paint. 🔥 not only is this house now more energy efficient, it also looks great 😎 contact us for all you extensions, loft conversions or EWI needs and

Looking good again!! 🤓
We were contacted by a landlord needing to raise his epc score getting ready for the new rental laws. Not only was the front of the property looking abit worse for wear, the render had failed, mesh had rusted and was blown from the wall. The rear render had also failed and letting in damp! We’ve sorted it 💪 by Hacking off both walls to solid render, a layer of kingspan kooltherm insulation was fixed to the house by both adhesive and mechanical fixings. A thin coat render system with full mesh layer was applied and finished in a breathable silicone render! Not only is it now looking good, the house will be much warmer and energy efficient😉 follow our page for updates on the finished front.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine🙏😎
As this project evolved we had to go back to the drawing board, a few upgrades and changes to the structure now means this home is having a Fantastic set of full height crittall style doors, extra extension in the kitchen area that will be cladded with timber, underfloor heating and our favourite, a EWI render system to the rear of the property. Over to building control !

Part of our Ashton build included this fantastic garden office with store room, it doubles up as a bedroom with a pocket door leading to a lovely en-suite. This is a well insulated timber frame using both stud filled pir insulation and breathable external wall insulation, for added comfort it also runs a mvhr unit to keep a constant warm fresh environment all year round!

15 days in around 30 tons out ! 💪
Well done to the lads, absolutely smashing this dig out. As you can see progress is happening, even with the bad weather we’ve had! Old brick shed down and cleared, around 26 tons dug out by hand and cleared, footing dug and poured, roof framed out and building control happy.🤝 On to the floor and prep for the knock through! Our best one to date.? 😁🔥🔥😎
Eco’s most recent extension, roof, porch and full ground floor alteration in Ashton, This one also included a timber framed garden office/bedroom with en-suite and store room.
This was a nice house in ashton that has been transformed into lovely home, we are extremely proud of this one and put a lot into it starting with a full roof replacement, on to a full rip out of the ground floor, door ways blocked up, new doorways and walls were added. Poor ground conditions on this one so a fully meshed concrete raft was formed to allow for a full width extension to be built and a complete rear wall knock through supported by a letterbox style steel. The entire ground floor was insulated with under floor heating fitted (3 systems used, 5 loops ran!) and fully tiled throughout! The alterations inside were to section off an existing open plan lounge, make space for a downstairs utility room with w/c, sink and a spacious shower, with the extension completing the new open plan kitchen/dinner living space. Another full package by Eco conversions! This build also incorporates Ewi (external wall insulation) and a warm roof system to the extension. Same street different dig!! It’s day two on our build in Bishopston, update on this one coming soon…. For now here is a recap of the first build we did on this street. Due to no access everything had to go through the house, this was a full package build including electrical, plumbing, decoration and bamboo flooring throughout.

Another nice dormer loft conversion complete by us, this one included a double winding staircase upto a lovely room with a Juliet balcony and a pocket door leading into a walk in shower en-suite, not only did this conversion have eves storage, we also built in the wardrobe and added breathable external wall insulation as standard!
