Last week at the Octopus Trusted Partner Awards 2026, we celebrated having our logo on the national stage. Being a finalist for Small Business of the Year, we’ve proven that dedication and quality speak for themselves.

The event was awesome — huge credit to the team for the incredible design, food, and atmosphere. Meeting Greg Jackson with him grabbing some selfies was a highlight; his team and energy for this industry are infectious and perfectly aligns with our mission to lead the renewables sector.

We might not have grabbed the award this time, but we certainly did our team and our clients proud. If anything, this has made us more determined to prove our ethos.

We love the sleek look of the Sigenergy battery system, but we also respect the timeless character of a late 1800s Victorian home.

When one of our latest clients needed their system installed at the front of the house, The Good Electrical Company sourced and fitted a custom-built enclosure to house the unit.

Another tidy one wrapped up in Bristol ☀️

This 5.9kW system is made up of 13 all black Alko Neostar panels, paired with 13 SolarEdge optimisers and a 10kW SolarEdge battery for proper performance and smart energy storage.

Installed across three separate roof areas, so not the simplest layout, but designed to maximise generation and keep everything looking clean and balanced.

We’ve also fitted bird guards as standard 🦅
