Waterfall & O'Brien Ltd Chemical Manufacturer and Supplier of Testing & Measuring Services. Waterfall & O'Brien is a limited company based in Bristol, United Kingdom.

It was founded circa 1885 by Charles Waterfall to pursue his interest in and pioneering the application of analytical chemistry to industrial needs; our first global commodity Certificate of Analysis was issued in 1887. Since then we have been everywhere we feel there is a need; in 1908 we were protecting food chains from US imports, oil & gas was in its infancy, so we provided specialist analysis

to them. In 1940 our community needed us to monitor water supplies, airborne gas contamination and munitions testing for war torn Britain. Post war we were there to rebuild the agricultural industry and we were there for the Severn Bridge project. Today we continue this founding tradition, but industrial needs have changed, now we focus our expertise on the impact of the industrial process on the environment and the welfare of its'​ operatives. We do this in partnership with industry by measuring the quality of air, water, soil and construction materials and by manufacturing specialty chemicals. Our purpose is to protect people and communities and build intrinsic value into our customers' products and services so they can be used more effectively.
