New lease of life for this charming 200 year old stable house.

This was a real labour of love from our team and everyone who helped us through it.

The existing house had been extended and altered several times over its life, using lots of different materials and methods which ultimately left us with straight bonded building add-ons, patchy doorway in-fills, rotting oak lintels and crumbling mortar.

Our goal was to restore its former glory and after 1/3 of the face being completely rebuilt, a new bay window and stone arch lintels, I’m proud to say I think we achieved it.

All stone was locally sourced and finished with a traditional lime mortar and the unaltered sections of the building repointed to suit.

Recent driveway uplift completed in Clifton, Bristol.
- Old tired tarmac and gravel removed.
- 5,000 cobbles individually laid along side a neutral resin driveway.
- Boarders consisting of Indian sandstone bullnose edgers and oak sleeper planters.
