🎈 It's Bristol International Balloon Fiesta week and we're looking forward to being back on site at Ashton Court for the 48th year from this Friday 7th - 9th August.

Look out for our Sport 50, 70 and 90 branded demonstrators, plus new for this year, our TR70 Mark 4 racer demonstrator to complete our arena lineup. 🚀

While our Hopper demonstrator won't be flying this year, it will still be taking part - this year with the brilliant Jo Bailey, who's borrowing our balloon to use in her world-record attempt: the most ascents in a tethered Hopper in one hour, while fundraising for Crohn's & Colitis UK & Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity.

🌍 Ten years ago this week, Cameron Balloons helped make aviation history once again.

🎈 On 23 July 2016, adventurer Fedor Konyukhov completed the fastest solo nonstop circumnavigation of the world by balloon, landing near Bonnie Rock, Western Australia, just 11 days after launching from Northam, the same site from which his journey began aboard his Cameron-built R550 Rozière balloon (RA-2900G).

Battling Antarctic winds, storms, temperatures below -20°C and altitudes of up to 10,000 metres, Fedor broke Steve Fossett's previous record by almost two days; a feat that, ten years on, still stands. 🏆

From pioneering the first successful nonstop round-the-world balloon flights to supporting record-breaking expeditions across the globe, Cameron Balloons has played a part in almost every major milestone in modern extreme ballooning.

It's a legacy we're incredibly proud of and one that continues to inspire the next generation of adventurers.

Congratulations once again to Fedor and everyone involved in an achievement that remains one of the greatest in ballooning history! 👏

🌈 Western Canada just got even more vibrant!

Last Friday saw the maiden flight of Air-Ora, a beautiful new Cameron Sport-90 now flying as C-GDCN with B & L Balloon Adventures. 🇨🇦

✨ Finished in a stunning rainbow design with black Nomex to make those colours really pop, Air-Ora flies with a complete new Cameron system, including a hi-spec Easy Access 4 basket and Stratus Neo double burner with shiny stainless steel cans.

Air-Ora is the third Cameron Sport-90 ordered by our Cameron Balloons Western Canada dealer, Shane Lockyer, in the past year, joining his own colourful 'Starburst' plus 'Orb', flown by Over the Rainbow Hot Air Balloon Team.

Together they're helping create a spectacular splash of colour within the Calgary Balloon Club! 🎈

Thank you to Shane for his continued enthusiasm and great work representing Cameron Balloons in Western Canada, and congratulations to Bill, Annette and Layne on the successful maiden flight of Air-Ora.
