The operated by Bristol based Nova Inflatable Advertising is already achieving great coverage following it's launch at the Bristol International Balloon Festival this year, and is making great progress in it's Guinness Word Records™ attempt for the most countries flown by a special shape.

Having flown 13 countries so far: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, the team continue their travels with flights in Slovenia, Croatia & Hungary scheduled soon.

We’re pleased to announced Sándor Simon as our dealer for Hungary.

Sándor started ballooning some 20 years ago, attaining his pilots balloon licence in 2002 and subsequently become an instructor in 2016. He is now the director of the Kecskeméti Aviation Association and is working towards becoming an examiner.

Sándor is often involved in the organisation of local fiestas and competitions and was the fiesta manager of the 2024 Szeged world cup. He is a regular fiesta participant and also competes in several competitions during the year, however his main focus remains on providing pilot training and he hopes to be able to undertake balloon Inspections and repairs soon.

It’s our pleasure to welcome Sandor to our dealer network.

We're very pleased to share this news.

Don Cameron MBE, Managing Director of Cameron Balloons Ltd, has been awarded this year’s Gold Air Medal by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), in recognition of his significant contribution to the world of air sports.

The Gold Air Medal is the FAI’s highest distinction in air sports, recognising exceptional achievement and contributions to aviation and aerial sporting activities worldwide.

The award represents a tremendous honour for Don Cameron, whose work with Cameron Balloons has helped shape the development of hot-air ballooning and the wider ballooning industry.

Don travelled to Lausanne, Switzerland, to receive the award yesterday evening, where the FAI celebrated Don’s achievements and his longstanding association with ballooning, as well as the contribution he has made to the international air sports community.

Well done Don!

We’re very pleased to share the news that one of our dealers Saburo “Sabu” Ichiyoshi and his achievements in ballooning have been recognised by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) Ballooning Commission.

Sabu was Inducted into the FAI's Hall of Fame at a ceremony held at the Balloon Museum last Friday, in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he has formally been recognised "as a central architect of modern Japanese ballooning."

Well done Sabu on this fantastic achievement and on all your adventures, services as a Cameron Balloons dealer and to the world of ballooning.
