We love our latest Little House, and we love that its new owners love it even more! The two ladies of this manor have christened their new playtime palace quite simply ‘My House,’ and they are relishing having their own separate space for quiet contemplation and frolicky fun.

A private playhouse is perched on a platform above a majestic mud kitchen (a double-basin-ed layout no less). Inside this private pad, it’s easy to feel right at home, as the residents have set up a cosy corner with a table and chairs, perfect for some R&R or a sustaining snack! If the houseproud pair fancy a spot of monkeying around, they can nip out to hang out on the set of monkey bars right next door. In addition, each homeowner has their own swing on this double set, and there is slide for a rapid return to their main residence when the play day is done.

I think that our new Little House family can all be proud of this elegant establishment – we think it’s a home sweet home indeed.

Our latest Little House is twice as nice, as its new owners are a set of twins who have just been joined by a brand-new second set of twins! In this case, 2 + 2 = many hours of future fun for this Little House family.

Many more than two can play this game on this large Little House, as – like its owners, it’s a double act! A double story playhouse is complemented by – you guessed it – two sets of monkey bar, a pair of swings, and a two-panel climbing wall. It also offers two routes to get on and off, as it’s topped and tailed with a slide and fireman’s pole. Built around a tree and in a gorgeous setting, you don’t have to think twice to reckon this is a pretty special structure.

One of our largest builds to date, we think that this gorgeous Little House is worth a double take (and – carpentry joke alert – brings a new meaning to the term two by four!)!

The ‘Cherrytreetops’

In Japan, cherry blossoms are associated with spring, new beginnings, and the appreciation of beauty in the present moment. And while it might technically be summer, we think that our latest Little House invokes those associations perfectly.

And this is not just a play structure which will bring joy to one family - the cherry on top of this sweet structure is its communal nature. Just as the fruits of the cherry tree can be shared and enjoyed by many, so too can this Little House, which spans a private garden and a communal shared space in the city where neighbourhood children play. The climbing wall positioned adjacent to a wild cherry tree on the garden side leads to a platform extending over the communal area, where the local children create new memories playing beautifully together on the slide and monkey bars.

While we can’t cherry pick our favourite Little Houses as we love them all, we think that this build is blooming brilliant!

We absolutely love this latest Little House, christened ‘Rose and Henry’s Castle’ by its new owners – which puts us in mind of another famous Henry/Rose combination, with Henry VIII and his family heraldic badge of the Tudor Rose. Surely this regal residence, with its perfectly Cleeve(d) wood, could rival the style of Henry’s assorted palaces – we certainly would place it on a Parr with Hampton Court!

Straddling an old dry-stone wall, this splendid structure includes a raised platform (in case Henry and Rose want to Sey-mour of the garden), monkey bars, and swing arm. And How’ard is it to get up and down I hear you ask? The answer is – it’s easy, with a climbing net, climbing wall, and slide for a quick getaway (Henry’s 2nd and 5th wives could have done with that!).

We are sure that the resident Little House royals will enjoy many hours of fun in their castle, until the sun and daylight Aragon and night falls.

We’ve absolutely lost our hearts to this Little House, but thankfully, our heads remain intact!

Here at LH HQ, we are on cloud nine, so blown away are we by our latest Little House! Christened ‘the Balloon Hide’ by its new owners, we fancied this design from the first time it was floated to us. We are very proud of our hot air balloons in Bristol, and with a panoramic view of the city, this pretty platform provides a perfect perch for perceiving these pneumatic phenomena!

This design has lofty ambitions to take playtime to new heights. When taking a break from balloon spotting, the new owners can fly a little closer to the ground with tandem swings, located on each side of the structure. The slide provides a brilliant opportunity to go down (not at all like a lead balloon!) and blow off some steam. The integrated bench underneath the platform provides a comfortable spot for pooped (hopefully not popped?!) players to rest and recover their high spirits.

While Bristol’s balloons may be, we are absolutely not full of hot air about this Little House - we cannot inflate our infatuation with it any further!

They say that mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow – we think that this lovely Little House, nestled under the branches of a fine example of the English oak and appropriately christened by its new owners, exemplifies this saying to a t(r)ee. From its roots in an initial design on paper, our team has transformed timber into a majestic play structure proudly rising up from the ground, in the shade of its leafy arboreal canopy.

It's not going out on a limb to say that this wooden wonderland is laden with fun features to climb (climbing wall and climbing net), swing (gym bar, double swing set, monkey bars), or to just hang out in the shade (raised platform). When it’s time to make like a tree and leaf, the Little Housers can make a quick descent via slide or fireman’s pole. Simply, there are more possibilities for play than you can shake a stick at (and puns like that are why we ‘stick’ to carpentry and don’t ‘branch’ out into comedy…)

Just as the mighty oak symbolises strength, stability and longevity, this tree-rific Little House will stand solidly and beautifully in its surroundings, providing hours and hours of joy, fun, and happy memories for this Little House family for years to come.
