📍 Project Completed | Corn Street, Bristol
Our Building Fabric Works team has recently completed external cleaning and treatment works for Oval Properties at one of their managed commercial sites in Bristol.
Over time, composite decking and external surfaces can become affected by dirt, algae, moss, and organic build-up, impacting both appearance and safety. Using specialist cleaning products and a carefully controlled process, the team restored the area without causing damage to the existing surfaces.

Works included:
• Composite decking cleaning and treatment
• Biocide application to help prevent regrowth
• Air ducting clean-down
• Cleaning of external housing units
• Full site preparation and protection measures
The before and after results speak for themselves, helping to improve the appearance, longevity, and usability of the space for those using the building every day.

A quick turnaround for one of our facilities management clients, Pinnacle.

Our team recently completed glass divider repairs at a residential property in Bath. Having completed similar works previously, we were able to review historical job records, identify the correct divider specification, and provide the information needed to keep the repair moving without delay.

It's a great example of how experience, accurate record keeping, and strong communication help deliver efficient maintenance solutions with minimal disruption.

📍 Bristol Project Update

We're pleased to be on site as Principal Contractor for the internal refurbishment of the Hampton by Hilton Bristol.

Delivered within a live hotel environment, this project requires careful planning, coordination, and phased delivery to ensure guests and day-to-day operations can continue with minimal disruption.

Works include:
• Refurbishment of 212 bedrooms
• Decoration of 8 floors of corridors
• Bathroom upgrades
• Electrical improvements
• Carpet replacements
• Window replacements
• Ground floor and back-of-house refurbishment

A project of this scale relies on strong project management, close collaboration with local subcontractors, and clear communication with the client team to keep works progressing smoothly.

The longest-serving team members at Lime have officially had a workplace upgrade… and yes, we’re talking about the fish. 🐠

They’ve been part of the Lime office since day one, so it felt right to give them a tank refresh worthy of their service.

Big thanks to Paul and the team at Nova for transforming the space with a brilliant new setup. It looks great, brings a real sense of calm to the office, and has already become a talking point for both the team and visitors.

Safe to say our original staff are settling into their new surroundings nicely.

Today, members of the Lime team headed to Oxford for Aico domestic fire and carbon monoxide alarm training with City & Guilds.

The course covered system design, installation, siting, testing, maintenance, interconnection, and the key regulations behind domestic alarm systems. It’s all part of making sure our team stays sharp, compliant, and ready to deliver high-standard work across Bristol, Bath and the South West.

We’re back onsite with Cosgrove & Drew, delivering external brickwork repairs at Edwards Ltd in Clevedon.

This project focuses on restoring the building envelope to a clean, weather-tight condition, with works carefully sequenced to ensure safety, consistency, and minimal disruption to the operational site.

Scope of works includes:

• Full scaffold design, installation, and inspection to the rear elevation
• Careful removal of existing air vents and making good surrounding areas
• Brick infill to former openings using matching materials for a seamless finish
• Cutting out and replacing defective bricks
• Raking out and repointing to maintain a consistent façade

While this type of work can appear straightforward, achieving a consistent finish across existing structures requires attention to detail, material matching, and experienced coordination on site.
