✅ Project Complete | Anavo Care Home – Lancing

MJD were appointed to complete the Plumbing, Ventilation, Sprinkler, Smoke Extract and BMS systems at Anavo Care Home in Lancing, following the original Main Contractor entering administration at approximately 50% project completion.

Our scope included a detailed technical review of the partially completed installations, coordination of remedial works, and delivery of all outstanding systems to ensure full integration, compliance, and operational performance.

We also implemented design refinements and BMS control strategy enhancements to improve energy efficiency, supporting the project in achieving an EPC A rating. In addition, MJD provided BREEAM-related technical input, including system performance data, commissioning records, and compliance evidence to support the sustainability assessment process.

Despite the challenges of inheriting a live project, our team delivered robust, compliant, and energy-efficient building services systems, ensuring safe operation and long-term reliability.

Proud moment for our Local youth team Red Falcons U7s 🔴🦅

We were thrilled to join them at Ashton Gate, where the team had the incredible honour of being flag bearers before kick-off.

An amazing experience for the children standing pitch side and seeing all the players up close. A real joy for us also seeing our logo on display in such an impressive stadium, right here in Bristol.

The squad soaked up the atmosphere and enjoyed a great win against Swansea, making memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re delighted to celebrate the achievements and progress of three fantastic apprentices:

✅ Connor – Now nearing the end of his apprenticeship journey, consistently demonstrating growth, dedication and professionalism.

✅ Ta Shai – Entering his second year and thriving in the role. He recently shared:

“I have really enjoyed working for MJD because it has given me the chance to learn hands-on skills on commercial sites. The senior plumbers have been supportive and willing to share their knowledge, which has helped me gain more knowledge and experience within the role.”

✅ Marley – Recently joined the team and already showing great promise as he begins his career with us.
