JS Mechanical Building Services Ltd have recently carried out a couple of successful air-conditioning projects.

The first project was to fully decommission, remove and dispose of 2 No. 15 year old R410a Hitachi 7kw cassette split air-conditioning units and associated pipework and cabling, then replace them with 2 No. new R32 equivalent like for like Hitachi systems at our clients site in Redhill.

The second project was to fully recover and dispose of the refrigerant from the existing 17 year old R410a Sanyo system and then supply, install and commission 1 No. brand new 10kw R32 Panasonic NanoX wall mounted split system to our clients site in Feltham, West London. The scope of this project also required that we fully supervised the on site electrical contractor who had attended to both disconnect the mains electrics to the existing Sanyo system and also to install brand new mains electrics to the new Panasonic system.

Suffice to say that both the respective clients and ourselves are very happy with the end results and we sincerely look forward to carrying out further projects of this nature very soon. 😊 😊

We carried out a successful maintenance to a Fujitsu split air-conditioning system at a clients site in Poole.

Always nice to have lots of these one off sites that contain one or two systems. Its nice steady work 😊

We got that outdoor condenser nice and clean. It's not just about carrying out the usual maintenance tests, it's also about going that extra mile in terms of attention to detail to fully ensure that the system is cleaned thoroughly inside and out.

We recently completed a project to replace a gas combi boiler and flue at our clients site located in the centre of Birmingham. The existing flue had unfortunately failed its integrity test. Due to age of the existing boiler the best solution was to replace both the flue and the combi boiler at the same time. Rather than opting for a like for like replacement boiler it was decided that a Worcester combi boiler would be installed instead. The project was then fully completed when I returned to site a few days after the replacement works were carried out. The client was very happy with the results and they now have heating and hot water back on in their building 😊 😊

It's been a very busy couple of months, which has seen me more heavily involved with back of house administration duties.

So, it was a really nice change of scenery to get back out on the front line again. Yesterday. I returned back to one of our clients sites in Luton along with our lead engineer Mick to continue to routine servicing on the sites air-conditioning systems.

We found several filters to be really heavily blocked up with debris, which was caused by recent building refurbishment works, but with a good bit of old fashioned elbow grease they came up as good as new.

Its been a busy couple of days out and about at a clients site in the centre of Wolverhampton.

We had 3 No. separate air-conditioning remedials jobs to carry out, one being a nitrogen pressure test and repair to one of the multi-split systems, two was to relocate 2 No. existing wall controllers from the nearby plant room to the office entrance to allow much better access for the client. We then finished up by servicing the 2 No. multi-split systems and the 1 No. split system. Suffice to say that the client was very happy with the works carried out and hopefully we will be back there very soon😊 😊

A much quieter week this week in terms of being out and about on the road, which has allowed me some much needed time to catch up with my administration and business development duties.

Just the one day out of the office this week on the Wednesday where I visited a client down in Watford to assist our engineer to carry out the routine bi-annual air-conditioning maintenance visit. ❄️☀️

This is the first time I have actually visited this site myself, so it was a great opportunity to have a good look at the overall condition of all the equipment and give everything a real good once over.

It's been a extremely busy and productive week that's for sure !

On Tuesday we visited a clients site in Alcester to carry out the annual air-conditioning maintenance to their air-conditioning systems 👍

On Wednesday we visited one of our direct local Bromsgrove based clients Vigo Software Ltd to carry out the bi-annual air-conditioning maintenance. The client is over the moon with how the system is now operating, which follows on from some major repair works we carried out to the system approximately 18 months ago. After another contractor had tried to sell them on replacing their entire air-conditioning system. It's always really uplifting to know that the care and attention that you have provided to your client has had such a positive effect on their overall business operations👍

On Thursday we briefly dropped in to see one of our new direct clients Morgan Hunt at their regional office based in the centre of Birmingham. This visit followed on from some recent repairs we carried out to their air-conditioning system at the end of April. This is always forms part of our follow up whenever any major repairs are carried out. Suffice to say they are now very happy as previously the system had not been cooling/heating for several years, which previous contractors had failed to diagnose correctly 👍

After that we attended the ACR Journal & Heat Pumps Today regional exhibition, which this year was held in the Trinity Stand at Villa Park. It's always a great opportunity for catching up with some familiar faces and networking with like minded industry professionals, and of course being a Villa fan it's always great visiting the mighty Villa Park .... UTV👍

Then on Friday we returned back to the client based in Alcester to fully complete the annual air-conditioning maintenance works and also discuss further remedial works required 👍

We then wrapped up the working week by visiting another of our direct local Bromsgrove based clients C.A.D Commercial Cleaning to carry out their annual air-conditioning maintenance. Out and about delivering leaflets in the local Bromsgrove area today.

Yes, I know it is old school, however this was always one of the very best ways to speak to prospects directly and seek out new business opportunities way before social media came along.

Plus it gets you out and about in the fresh air and it gives you plenty of exercise, which is always great for reducing those stress levels.

Had a lot of really positive conversations today and hopefully we will see some valued enquires come in very soon. 🤞 🤞
