IRS has recently completed a number of turnkey projects for the design and installation of major industrial refrigeration systems and complex CFC upgrades to meet the impending European targets for a reduction in ozone depleting refrigerants. The company also has a team dedicated to providing EPBD (European Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings) reports and offers free onsite training for customers’ staff to enable them to identify early warning signs of potential problems in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

What a brilliant way to round off the year. 🥳

On Saturday, the IRS team got together for our Christmas party at Clays Bar, a rare chance for everyone across departments to unwind, celebrate the year, and spend some time together outside of work.

We don’t often get everyone in the same room, so it was great to see plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition throughout the night!

A huge thank you to Clays for hosting us - great atmosphere, great food, and a spot of friendly rivalry made it a perfect night.

Here’s to finishing 2025 on a high and looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

🔧 Chiller Coil Replacement 🔧

Our team recently had the opportunity to replace the internal coil on a Ciat Chiller at one of our client sites. During a routine PPM, we identified a fracture in the bottom section of the coil, which was causing issues with the unit's performance.

After safely decommissioning the system and recovering 5kg of refrigerant, we installed the new coil, ensuring the system was fully recharged and back up and running.

Following this, we conducted a full pressure test, evacuation, and vacuum test, all passing successfully, leaving the system fully commissioned and operational.

Another great job completed by our expert engineers, keeping our client's equipment running smoothly.
