Although at the heart of our company it’s maintaining key infrastructure sites, laying porcelain, running drainage and pouring concrete, there is so much more that goes into the process.
Behind every project sit thousands of quotations prepared, hundreds of tenders submitted and negotiated, and thousands of invoices processed and reconciled. Materials are carefully planned and called off so the right products arrive on site at exactly the right time.
Alongside this, we are rolling out digital snagging systems and digital QA forms to provide a full audit trail of our work, preparing detailed risk assessments and method statements, planning logistics, reviewing drawings, and collaborating with building control and key stakeholders to ensure every element is fully compliant and coordinated.
We are continually improving how we operate: gaining SafeContractor and Constructionline Gold accreditations, building internal systems, running CRMs to track leads and opportunities, and accounting for every penny spent on projects so we can hone our pricing and remain as competitive as possible, without compromising on quality or safety.
We are not only building great site teams; we are also forming a strong office team to support our expanding operations and ensure our growth is sustainable.
The visible part is what happens on site, but the consistency, reliability and delivery our clients experience is built on the work of a small, committed office team who keep everything moving in the background.
A few hairlines have slowly crept backwards as we continue this journey – but we’re still smiling and still pushing forwards. And although the thumbnail for this reel might make it look like Charlie is planning a dive into the political sphere, he’s very much sticking to running the company.
