* We also insulated and cladded the ceiling to add warmth and tidy up those rafters.

A re-model of an en-suite and a follow on from our previous post. This en-suite required a complete re-model and certainly had some challenges. Keeping the same style as the bathroom, our customer opted for an entire new white bathroom suite, commo wall tile, new LVT flooring, spot lighting, new towel rail, shower niche, and finally brushed bronze finish on the accents. The sink and vanity unit were custom fit to place over the existing stairwell. -suite -model

With spring & summer just around the corner, why not get ahead of the game.
Opting for an outdoor living area that can be used in all weathers, our customer wanted the existing sun canopy’s removed for a permanent terrace.
New lean too cut roof with tile and dressed led work. Joisting to support new composite decking. One enclosed wall styled with acoustic panelling. Clear toughened glass above, to allow plenty of natural light.
A new outdoor table constructed and designed to seat up to 10. And finally dropped lights for use in the evenings.

Making the most of this little space.

A slight revise of this space to the side of a garden shed. New studs and ply to panel in with new timbers and opal polycarbonate roofing sheets to make weather tight.

A re-bed of loose ridge tiles.

Some of this roofs hip tiles had come completely loose, to point we could lift them off and crumble the mortar without using tools.
Re-using the original tiles, we opted for a stronger mortar by using a higher content of cement. This can be seen in the richer white/light grey colour of the mortar and will make the hips more durable and strong for the variant weathers over the coming years.

Going for a fresh look.

Removing the original rock wall and building a new single course brick wall with pillars to strengthen and bind, on the curve. New footings dug in and concreted, Dapple light bricks used with a concrete weathered coping stone to finish.

Something a little closer to home, literally.
A complete blank canvas gave us the opportunity to model the garden of this new build, to create a great use of space.
Grey Indian sandstone slabs laid for both patios and paths with sleepers fitted to divide the different levels of the garden. Hardcore levelled out and compacted with sand layer for Astro to be fitted.
Concrete shed base and shed with side bar for BBQ area and canopy. Bespoke planter cladded horizontally with treated PSE and solar lights. New feather edge fencing fitted with solar up down lights and retractable patio canopy to finish.
