♻️ Turning Waste into Opportunity ♻️

Last week, members of the JCS Interiors team completed two trips to Shrewsbury Men’s Shed, a charity dedicated improving the lives and mental health of men. We donated pallets, timber and plywood that would otherwise have been discarded.

By giving these materials a second life, we're helping support a fantastic community organisation that creates everything from handcrafted decorations to bespoke furniture, while reducing waste from our projects.

A huge thank you to Kevin, Steven and Charlie for taking the time to deliver the materials and support such a worthwhile cause.

On Tuesday, JCS Interiors had the pleasure of delivering an Introduction to Drylining Masterclass in partnership with DWP and Blackpool & The Fylde College as part of our commitment to help people back into work.

A huge thank you to the college for facilitating the session and giving us the opportunity to introduce students to the skills and career opportunities available within the drylining industry.

The session included an introduction to drylining followed by a practical demonstration from Sion who is a newly qualified Dryliner, who did an excellent job demonstrating how to construct an MF ceiling and partition wall. It was fantastic to see some of the students getting involved and having a go themselves!

A huge thank you to Sion who did an amazing job on the day, show casing all his skills and confidence in the trade and inspiring other!

At JCS Interiors, we are committed to investing in people, supporting progression and working with our partners to give those out of work an insight into the opportunities available within construction.

Thank you to DWP, Blackpool & The Fylde College, our JCS team and all the students who took part 👏

🏆 Proud Moment for JCS Interiors! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to have been awarded the first VINCI Building UK Social Value Certificate, recognising the work JCS Interiors has delivered within the communities surrounding our projects.

A huge thank you to VINCI Building UK and the wider team for this recognition. We are extremely proud of our relationship with VINCI building and of the opportunities we have had to work together to create meaningful and lasting social value.

Most importantly, this recognition belongs to the whole JCS team 💙

Thank you to every member of staff who has given their time, shared their skills and experience, supported young people entering the industry, attended community events, delivered training and continually gone above and beyond.

Social value isn't just about meeting a project requirement for us. It's about investing in people, creating opportunities and giving something back to the communities in which we work.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far and we're excited to keep building on it.

Thank you again to VINCI Building for the recognition, and congratulations to everyone at JCS Interiors who has helped make this possible. 👏🏆

🌟 Supporting Little Stars & Local Families 🌟

At JCS Interiors, we’re proud to support organisations that make a genuine difference within the communities around our projects.

We recently had the pleasure of making a donation to Little Stars, providing a range of essential items including nappies, baby wipes, formula, feeding accessories, safety gates and other everyday necessities.

These items will go directly towards supporting local families who need them most, helping to ease some of the everyday pressures that come with caring for young children.

A massive thank you to everyone involved in organising and contributing to the donation, and to the team at Little Stars for the fantastic work they continue to do within the community.

Sometimes the simplest things can make the biggest difference. 💙

Proud to give something back. Proud to support our local community.

In memory of a much loved friend and colleague ❤️

JCS Interiors, together with VINCI, are proud to have made a donation to Shrewsbury Men’s Shed based at the West Midlands Showground, Gravel Hill, Shrewsbury, SY1 2PF.

Shrewsbury Men's Shed provides a fantastic space for people to come together, share skills and support one another, while also producing some incredible handcrafted items and memorabilia that allow families and friends to cherish the memories of their loved ones.

Our donation was made in honour and memory of a much loved friend and colleague who will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

As our work continues on the Shrewsbury project, JCS Interiors and VINCI are committed to continuing our support for Shrewsbury Men's Shed and the valuable work they do within the local community.

A small gesture in memory of someone who meant a great deal to many of us. ❤️

🎉 Celebrating 7 Years with JCS Interiors! 🎉

This month, we’re proud to celebrate Mathew Debio's seven-year anniversary with JCS Interiors.

Mathew joined us as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and, after qualifying, has continued to grow, develop and progress within the business. Today, he is an important part of our team as our Senior Quantity Surveyor. Mathew is now sharing his knowledge and experience by supporting and training our new Trainee Quantity Surveyor, helping the next generation follow the same path he began seven years ago.

At JCS, we believe in investing in our people, supporting their development and helping them thrive throughout their careers and Mathew’s journey is a brilliant example of that commitment.

Thank you, Mathew, for your hard work and dedication over the past seven years. Congratulations on this fantastic milestone! 👏

🌟 From Work Experience to Full-Time Employment 🌟

JCS Interiors is proud to work in partnership with the VINCI Skills School and Blackpool & Fylde college to help create meaningful opportunities for young people in the local community.

Through the VINCI Skills School, we welcomed two young people who were previously out of work and education to complete work experience with our team.

They both embraced the opportunity, worked incredibly hard and made a fantastic impression. We are delighted to announce that we have offered them both full-time, paid positions as labourers on our Blackpool site!

They will now work alongside our experienced team, developing their practical skills, gaining valuable industry knowledge and building their careers in construction.

Congratulations and welcome to the JCS team, we’re excited to support you both on the next stage of your journey! 👏

The JCS Interiors team recently enjoyed a well-deserved social night, giving everyone the chance to switch off, have a laugh and enjoy some quality time together away from the day-to-day of site life.

A huge thank you to BG and Max for putting on a fantastic night and bringing everyone together, it was really appreciated by all of us at JCS! 🙌🍻
It’s always good to make time for the people behind the projects.
