Its World Penguin Day! Its celebrated annually on 25th April , as they migrate northward around this date.
Fun Facts ; Their black and white "tuxedo" clever camouflage is called countershading. When swimming, their black backs help them blend with the dark of the ocean from predators looking from above.
Their white bellies help them blend with the bright surface of the ocean when viewed by predators and prey from below.

Why don't penguins feet freeze??? They can control the blood flow to their feet and have a system of blood vessels that reduces heat loss from their bodies. This keeps their feet a few degrees above freezing, this also stops them sticking to the ice.

This is me ! Well me, in a section of our workshop … International Women’s Day is celebrated to commemorate and honour women’s accomplishments.
So much has happened this year and it’s only March!! January started with an accident and split head, and now with a badly pulled back, my ill health is not setting me back, I’m working hard with my team to maintain & fulfil our order book.
I have met and worked alongside many strong women, over the years, that continue to inspire me. To those I come across in my business world & all of my friends and family in my personal world; I’m in awe of you all.

Keep chasing the dream ladies. We’ve got this 💪
Owning a business is hard work, but it’s mine, I love my job and I’m proud to be a female business owner. 🥰 💪

Love seeing the kids dress up for World Book Day! In my childhood I enjoyed Enid Blyton, Nurse Nancy,Tammy & Misty and Bunty (seriously showing my age!). What books did you enjoy as a child? Look at these cuties - two proud dads and grandad of Hms have kindly shown us their beautiful kids and grandkids..How fabulous do they look ! Aren’t they brilliant ? 🥰

1. People born on a leap day are called "Leaplings"

2. The odds of being born on a leap day are 1 in 1,461, so there's a 0.068% chance they will find someone in the world with the same birthday, apparently this equals about 5 million people in the world.

3. Leap Day is often associated with marriage proposals- tradition says that in 5th-century Ireland, St. Bridget lamented to St. Patrick that women were not allowed to propose to men. It was said that St. Patrick designated the only day that doesn’t occur annually, Feb 29th, as a day that women would be allowed to propose to men. This tradition went to Scotland & England, but the British added a twist—if a man rejected a woman's proposal, he owed her a debt of several pairs of fine gloves, perhaps to hide the fact that she didn’t have an engagement ring 🤣

Tough day for some parents today as they drop their little ones off to a new school or new class.
As a close friend posted today, in the blink of an eye, they are grown up, starting/ finshing Uni. Another great example of what can be achieved if you put your mind to it.
Watching my kids and kids of my friends / family reach their goals , makes me so proud of you all.
- New Friends, New beginnings, New Adventures . Never give up, and best wishes for a successful ,happy year 🥰
