Well over 300 tonne of spoil removed from this sloped site over in Coleorton in preparation for another new build this year. This time we are working in conjunction with Scandia-Hus Ltd again. With the house base now almost ready, we are very much looking forward to them arriving and putting their timber frame up, then we can get cracking again with this project.

We've been really looking forward to sharing these finished pictures from another project we completed last year. This wonderfully characterful rubblestone cottage over in Ticknall has now almost doubled in size. With a new two storey side extension and complete internal gut out of the original cottage bringing it all up to modern standards including underfloor heating under the beautiful flagstone tiled floor downstairs. The superb handmade bespoke kitchen, hardwood windows and external doors built and installed by Robin Penfold Joinery helping bring this old cottage back to life, without losing its charm, for years more to come.

Our new build over in Melbourne is coming on nicely. Ground & first floor are now almost complete. The pictures just don't quite capture the scale of this project but we are all certainly getting our daily steps in on this one!
Looking forward to seeing the roof on and fitting some Derbyshire stone cladding around the outside.

We've started this year with an enormous new build over in Melbourne, where a now demolished old farm building used to stand. After battling our way through some extremely wet, muddy, and windy weather on a particularly exposed site, it is now starting to take shape. Working in conjunction with our friends over at , this will certainly be one impressive build!

We are very excited to share a selection of finished internal pictures from our latest big project completed near Barton-under-Needwood.
Picking apart and converting the original bungalow into an amazing two storey home came with some challenges along the way. Over 20 pieces of steel are now incorporated into this design to help open up the ground floor spaces as well as the new upstairs, with it's impressive vaulted ceilings. It also benefits from underfloor heating downstairs and upstairs, powered by a newly installed air source heat pump.

What a transformation!! One of our recently completed projects just outside Barton-under-Needwood. Here's a couple of external before and after images to give you an idea just how much has changed. A subtle mix of stone and render with the black aluminium windows and doors make this a stunning property. It's been a challenge all the way, but we absolutely love the finish result. Internal images to follow.

A lovely sunny day, for some roof trusses to be fitted. It's great to be able to engineer out heavy steel ridges with cleverly designed timber! Big thanks to Frank .blackwell for his support on this one...fits perfectly. Side extension on the job in Ticknall coming on nicely. Looking forward to getting the gables completed and the roof tiled in.

Presenting a double storey side and rear extension that we completed last year, which gives this detached property in Barton under Needwood another 2 bedrooms, an en-suite master bedroom & large dressing room upstairs. Downstairs it now benefits from a lovely open plan family area, new fitted kitchen, separate utility, playroom and W/C. As a nod to the original house the original facing bricks were reclaimed from the demolition and used up to the ground floor windows all around the extension.
Another successful project completed by the Browns team in the village for a lovely family.
