- Mechanical Design Engineer

- Software Engineer

The roles involve working on designs for locomotives and related products for mainline, industrial, mining and tunnelling industries.
The ideal candidates will have the relevant experience in engineering production, preferably in a rail or off road environment.

The ability to work closely with all employees including directors is essential.

At a recent House of Commons reception hosted by Amanda Hack, MP for North West Leicestershire, on behalf of ABB, both Steve Gretton and Stephen Plant represented Clayton Locomotives.

The theme for the event was ‘Building a Leaner, Cleaner, More Competitive UK’.

During the evening both Steve and Stephen were able to network with parliamentarians, senior officials, representatives from across the UK’s industrial sectors and trade associations.

This exclusive event explored how UK industry can strengthen performance and competitiveness through the adoption of electrification and automation.
Both attendees thanked ABB for the invitation and commented on the quality of the event and the ability to network with other UK manufacturer representatives was invaluable.
