With downstairs being open plan and a large amount of joists hanging at one end we laser levelled the joists in from the underside to ensure a perfectly flat ceiling.

With the sole plate down and the webs of the steels packed out we recently craned in the ground floor panels on our on going new-build project.

The panels arrived millimetre-perfect abutting their steel posts exact and the height of the panels working perfectly with the beams throughout the building.

Extra surveys and detail in their setting out paid off!

As part of designing the timber frame, we also incorporate the design of any required steelwork into our 3D model. Not only does this provide manufacturing details for the fabricators but also ensures the steel frame and our timber frame panels fit together perfectly.

We have recently designed and installed these large steel posts and beams as part of this bespoke timber frame home.

The steels have been installed on top of pad stones located around the footprint of the building and once packed to the correct height they are uprighted and chem-fixed into place.

Project complete!

Our work is done on this lovely new build in Taverham; the cladding has been finished, doors and windows trimmed and the T&G to the porch areas has been completed.

We built the cart lodge for this customer last year and have now delivered phase 2 which is their new home, set in lovely grounds in a secluded location.

Panels installed and uprightness along with the joists and rim board.
