At Green Grant Installs, we’re proud to support community initiatives that create meaningful moments for families.

This Father’s Day, we were delighted to donate cards and gifts to Progress Housing Group for their special Father’s Day Present Room events.

These events give children the opportunity to choose a gift, wrap it themselves, and write or create a personal card – all free of charge. It’s always a wonderful experience that helps create lasting memories and gives children the chance to celebrate the important people in their lives with something truly personal.

We’re pleased to play a small part in supporting such a thoughtful initiative and look forward to seeing the joy it brings to families across the community.

We were proud to sponsor the recent Soup Dragon’s Den event and hear first-hand about the incredible work local charities and community groups are delivering within our communities.

A huge congratulations to Clare House, run by Key Unlocking Futures, who received £1,000 from the Community Investment Fund to support the refurbishment of their children’s activity room – a fantastic project that will make a real difference.

It was inspiring to see so many passionate organisations sharing their stories and showcasing the positive impact they have every day.

Thank you to everyone involved for making the event such a success – we’re proud to support initiatives that strengthen communities and create lasting impact.

A fantastic day in Lytham St Annes as Green Grant Installs came together with our valued partners, Mitsubishi Electric, to showcase the impact of retrofit improvements at Gisburn and Ilkley Avenue.

As part of a wider programme supported by the Warm Homes Fund, we’ve delivered air source heat pumps and energy efficiency upgrades across 58 homes — helping residents enjoy warmer, more comfortable, and more affordable-to-heat living spaces.

The day gave us the opportunity to hear directly from tenants about how these improvements are already making a positive difference in their homes and daily lives.

It was also a pleasure to be joined by George Clarke — a memorable moment for all involved!

This project is a strong example of what can be achieved through partnership, innovation, and a shared commitment to improving energy efficiency while supporting the transition to lower-carbon heating.

At Green Grant Installs, social value is a core part of how we work. As part of our ongoing contract with Progress Housing Group, we are proud to be installing swift boxes across our projects to support local wildlife and enhance biodiversity.

We’re pleased to share that a new batch of boxes is now ready to be installed.

A big thank you to Bolton And Bury Swifts for supplying these expertly designed boxes. Made from durable UPVC, they are lightweight, long-lasting, and ideal for integration into building projects.

These boxes provide valuable nesting spaces for swifts, house sparrows, and other small bird species. Many of these birds are wholly or partially reliant on buildings for their nesting opportunities, so providing safe and suitable boxes in carefully chosen locations can make a meaningful difference.

Supporting nature through practical action is an important step toward creating healthier, more sustainable communities. Small changes in the built environment can have a lasting impact on biodiversity.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who entered our Easter Egg Design Competition! 🐣🎨

We were absolutely blown away by the creativity, effort, and imagination in every single entry – each design was truly amazing. It made judging incredibly difficult!

After much deliberation, we’re excited to announce that we have selected:

🎖️ And a joint 4th place – as we felt these entries showed outstanding detail and creativity

At Green Grant Installs, we’re proud to support our local community as part of our social value commitment.

This week, we donated 50 Easter eggs to Mosscare St Vincent's Housing Group to help spread a little joy to residents and families this Easter. 🍫✨

It’s initiatives like this that remind us how important it is to give back and make a positive impact where we can.

We are proud to announce that Green Grant Installs Limited has been appointed to work in partnership with Progress Housing Group on a three-year contract as part of the Warmer Homes Plan – Social Housing Wave 3 programme.😊

Through this programme, we will be delivering a comprehensive package of energy efficiency and low-carbon measures designed to improve comfort, reduce fuel poverty, and cut carbon emissions across hundreds of social housing homes.

Measures being delivered include:

✔️ External Wall Insulation

✔️ Air Source Heat Pumps

✔️ Solar PV

✔️ Cavity Wall Extraction and Re-Fill

✔️ Loft Insulation

✔️ Ventilation Improvements

This partnership represents a significant step forward in supporting Progress Housing’s commitment to providing warmer, more energy-efficient homes for residents, while contributing to national decarbonisation targets.

We look forward to working collaboratively over the next three years to deliver high-quality installations and long-term benefits for tenants and communities.
