🩷 International Women’s Day is our chance to celebrate the women driving progress across every industry. Following Women in Construction Week (3–7 March), it’s a fitting continuation - shining a light on the talent, leadership, and contribution women bring to construction, utilities, and beyond.
At Crown Energy, this isn’t just a message we share once a year, it’s reflected in who we are. A majority of our team is female, including our Managing Director, .downing, and that representation strengthens how we deliver: with clarity, collaboration, and confidence across every stage of a job.
“Utilities and construction are about people first; the relationships, the trust, and the decisions that keep projects moving safely and smoothly,” says Keeley. “I’m proud that at Crown Energy, women are leading that work every day - on the phones, in the plans, and behind the scenes making delivery happen.”
As we support customers through utility connections, metering, and multi-utility project coordination, we see the pressures the industry faces — skills shortages, tighter timelines, evolving standards — and we also see the opportunity: building a more inclusive sector where talent is recognised, supported, and able to thrive.
This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the women in our business, our partners, and the wider industry, and we’re committed to being part of the momentum that turns visibility into long-term change.
💕 Happy International Women’s Day to the women powering progress across construction and utilities, and to everyone who champions inclusive workplaces where talent can thrive.
