No wind power - so frustrating waiting for this low pressure off the east coast of England to go away. The low pressure means low wind power and so no cheap electric for my hot water tank! It could be there until Saturday or longer ;-(

Electricity is expensive this morning so I I thought about designing a system to redirect my combi boiler heat to my CombiTank hot water tank. But then, it hit me—no need!

Why, you ask? Because my CombiTank is already a hybrid! I use the hot water tank when electricity is low, or gas when gas is cheaper. It works seamlessly as it is.

Postie was very interested in why such a small package needed a photo so they could deliver it.

It’s a very small pink tab from that turns my mobile into the real-time home heads-up display for my energy smart meters.

Is it better than the in-home display box I have already? Will report back soon…
