CHARITY WALK UPDATE:

A huge thank you once again for all your generous donations — your support means so much! 🙏
Yesterday’s route took me along the West Coast Path from Camborne to St Ives — tough hills, but absolutely breath-taking views!

Today’s a well-earned rest day, before the last big push: an 18-mile trek to St Just, and then on Saturday morning… the final stretch to Land’s End! 🏁

I also had a lovely chat with Mick from the Selsey Venture Club, who asked me to pass on his thanks to everyone who’s donated. The funds raised so far will cover half the cost of the solar panels they plan to install on their roof in the new year ☀️

These panels will let them run their electric buses at zero cost — while cutting their carbon footprint. A real win-win! 🙌

CHARITY WALK UPDATE:

Two great days on the road with my mate Steve! 👣
We started in Weston-super-Mare and finished up in Wellington — 43.5 miles covered ✅

Today’s goal: Tiverton, which means I’ll be crossing from Somerset into Devon! Another county down, one step closer to the finish line 💪

It was a fantastic event, full of great music, community spirit, and all for a great cause — raising money for charity. 👏

Something a bit out of the ordinary on this one:
We installed a specially designed beam truss with a suspended staircase system, dropping 8 metres from the dockside straight into the water. This setup gave divers safe, direct access at all tide levels to carry out essential repairs on the lock doors at Portsmouth Harbour.

Proud to share our latest scaffolding project at Hatfields Building - Paris Gardens, iQ Student Accommodation in London!

We erected an 8m long, 25m high independent scaffold to support the installation of a 500kg goods hoist for roof access.

Key challenges we overcame:

1️⃣ Built on a pavement with a 5kn leg load limit – solved by using 2x 8m long 450mm deep alloy beams for load distribution.

2️⃣ Over-clad building – scaffold constructed progressively to allow the client to remove cladding, then securely tied to the steel framework with Tek-Screws and Big Ben T-Brackets.

Exciting news!
We’ve embarked on a major project at HMNB Portsmouth to upgrade and repurpose the historic 25 Store in conjunction with HMNB Portsmouth.
Stage one is complete - the roof is now watertight allowing for the next stages to progress later this year, thanks to a temporary scaffolding solution from us.
