Timeless and elegant!

A small break from furniture, we recently had the pleasure of constructing, spray finishing and installing this beautiful front door and frame. All made from solid Accoya and Sapele, sprayed using paint, then dressed with sandblasted triple glazed units and hardware.

I’ve always admired the level of detail in traditional Victoria shutters but never thought I’d get the opportunity to make any until recently.

Over 50 hours of SketchUp modelling to ensure the angles were right and the shutters would work, and I’m so glad we spent the time on that element before going into production as they turned out a roaring success!

A real headache but it was worth it in the end!

All hand made within our workshop and spray finished using Polyurethane enamel - RAL 9003
