• Here we adapted a double garage with two single ‘up and over doors’ to make way for a brand new electric roller door!👌🏼

We are looking for experienced trades in general building to add to our workforce. Or someone inexperienced but keen and willing to learn a new trade. Work would be varied in all aspects of construction.

No qualifications required, however would need to be motivated, keen to learn and ideally be able to drive.

🔸Check out this this beaut nestled in the stunning village of Hemingford Grey👌🏼

▪️Here we created a single storey extension. This enhanced the owners kitchen/living area with bi-fold doors that opened onto the newly laid patio to rear, giving you that whole ‘inside/outside’ feel. In addition to this we also created a new utility area within the existing garage!

🔸So we thought we would share with you guys the process of creating something like this…

🔸A Custom Designed Bespoke Composite and Porcelain Tiled Landing Stage.

So in a nutshell…

🔸To start we surveyed the land and calculated the water and ground levels. 👷🏻‍♂️ From that produced drawings/plans to meet the customers wants/needs. ✍️

🔸Next stop to clear the area! This included clearing large well established tree roots from the river bank. In doing so we enlisted help from a more than qualified local tree surgeon Guy Winter! What a guy!! 🌳 🌿

🔸Then we went onto creating the steel structure in order to reinforce the river bank. This was also to become the raised sub structure for the main jetty. 🔨

🔸Once the structure was laid it was then time for the wood work. 🪚 Here we used pressure treated timber for the frame work and heavy duty sleepers to retain the lawns edge. 🪵

🔸Composite decking was then laid to create the main platform with a combination of porcelain tiles for the steps.👌🏼

🔸Lastly it’s worth mentioning that during the build the customer came to us and suggested including an extra low level platform. This was to access the river for a small boat/kayak/canoe. We went ahead and ‘adapted’ the design, as you can see from some of the photos this is a great addition! 🛶
