We’re proud to showcase our latest project for the University of Cambridge – the cutting-edge Ray Dolby Centre, a flagship research facility supporting over 1,100 researchers and students in the heart of the Cambridge West Innovation District.

InterFocus delivered a full laboratory fit-out across six phases, supplying and installing over 650 iFlexx Modular Laboratory Benches, alongside bespoke furniture solutions including:

✅ Fixed and height-adjustable iFlexx benches (specifically designed for enhanced stability in laser measurement and precision experiments)
✅ 316 stainless steel iFlexx benches for cleanroom environments
✅ Custom ESD benches and suites for electronics research teams
✅ Fire-rated corridor storage, tall storage units, wall cupboards, mobile furniture, and specialist acoustic enclosures

Our iFlexx system—with its modular design at its core—empowers research teams to adapt and evolve their spaces as scientific needs change. Combined with robust Trespa TopLab Base worktops, the solution ensures durability, flexibility, and long-term performance.
