Full kitchen renovation completed in Over 🔥

We knocked through the existing kitchen into the dining area and extended the space right through into the garage to completely transform the layout.

The result is a much bigger, open-plan kitchen/living space that works properly for modern living.

This one included a full garage conversion as part of the works, so everything from start to finish was handled by us.

Customer supplied the kitchen through Wren, really enjoyed this one. Great project and a top result.

This one started off looking pretty tired…
Old timber windows, overgrown driveway, and a garage conversion that had definitely seen better days (complete with an unused sauna 👀).

We gave the whole place a new lease of life.
Externally:
✔️ Front garden cleared & levelled
✔️ Fresh gravel driveway installed
✔️ New double glazed windows
✔️ New uPVC front door
✔️ New fencing to tidy up boundaries

Internal:
✔️ Old garage conversion completely gutted
✔️ Rewire, sockets and spots added
✔️ New radiator added from existing system
✔️ Floor insulation installed
✔️ Plastering & decorating throughout
✔️ New LVT flooring laid

Access was tight, so instead of dragging everything through the house, we removed the front window for access — then reinstated it once complete 💡

All carried out in-house

Clean, simple finish and a massive improvement overall 👌

Another one wrapped up by AB Construction Cambs Limited 👷‍♂️

We were asked to take over this project after the customer had been left stuck and unable to finish the job by a previous builder. From half-done to fully prepared — we got everything back on track and ready for the next stage.

🔧 What we carried out:
• Installed ACO drainage across the front of the property
• Carefully reinstated all block paving
• Removed the old felt and battened out, refelted and protected the wall ready for cement boards and rendering
• Extended the roof line to match the new porch below
• Completed all associated timber work, tiling, lead work, guttering, soffit & fascia
• Left the property clean, tidy and ready for rendering

The customer can now move forward stress-free knowing everything has been completed properly and prepared the right way 👍

Garage conversion, extension & internal alterations — Over 📍

We’re still recovering from the tea and coffee withdrawals on this one… easily the most brews ever supplied by a customer! ☕😂

So what did we do?

• Extended the existing garage forward
• Removed two internal walls
• Split one large room into two
• Relocated the front door
• Enlarged the downstairs W/C

You now enter into a bright, welcoming hallway. To the right — a spacious home office. Next door — a cosy snug, also accessed via new double doors from the kitchen. To the left of the stairs — a generous W/C and access into a large new living area where the garage once stood.

Other works included:✔ Laundry chute from upstairs dressing room to utility✔ New downstairs radiators✔ Hot & cold external tap✔ Herringbone LVT flooring (one of our favourite finishes — adds real warmth to the space)

Really enjoyed this project from start to finish. Big thanks to all the lads involved — onto the next one 💪

I know I say it all the time, I don't post enough of what we do on here! *must try harder*

Anyway here's one we finished not long ago in cambridge, this property sat empty for over 2 years and was in desperate need of renovation.
Luckily the new owners had some great ideas and I think you'll agree made some very tasteful choices.
Once again thanks to all the lads who helped pull this together 💪

Been a while, we haven't disappeared, just flat out on several projects.

We're currently working on a two story wrap around extention and various other bits in Swavesey, a full house refurb and alterations in Cambridge and soon to be repairing some failed steel padstones on a £1.6million new build in trumpington 😬

I'll upload some pics and let them do the talking!

First 10 pics of Swavesey, we're a bit further ahead of what's shown, will update next week.

The rest are of cambridge, again much further ahead than shown, will update another time.

Again can't thank everyone involved enough, because of the very skilled tradesmen i have at hand, we make it happen 💪

Completely failed to get any before photos on this one 🤦

But here is a single garage conversion completed in Over recently, extra bedroom and en suite fitted into this one.

Fully insulated, new upvc door to the rear, all new services to and from the space, sliding pocket door, and fit the en suite.
Handed over to the client for painting.

On to the next 💪

Before and after on a quick bathroom install at a rental property in Milton.

The old bath had a crack and unfortunately was left too long before being replaced, this resulted in the ceiling below falling down.

We went in removed the old suite, repaired all the damaged areas and installed the new suite in just over 2 days.

Knock through and new kitchen install completed in Cambridge.

Was an absolute pleasure working for this customer, we think this one has turned out perfectly.

Designed by Howdens bought to life by myself and Phil from PJB Build LTD.

Old kitchen ripped out, skimmed, new electrics and plumbing, lvt herringbone floor and new kitchen fitted with all new integrated appliances.

Landscape project in Cambridge ticked off today, full design provided by the client and brought to life by us.

Big thanks to the lads who helped bring this one to life.

We leveled off the ground just before Christmas, after only just managing to squeeze the digger through the gate!

Constructed a timber batten fence, prepped the ground with compacted sub base ready for the porcelain tiles and polybound resin.

A new lean-to shed was built between the exsiting and boundary wall.
600 x 600 porcelain tiles were laid for the patio and carefully set out for the stepping stones, we then created a step upto the higher ground with the same tiles.

Lastly we laid the resin on a mesh and go system, creating clean lines using stainless edging strips.

Oh there's even a hole in the fence for hedgehogs!

Thw next job is already well underway.
