We are looking for someone who has the machine and is willing to come help with putting in some ground screws!?

We seem to have been a little optimistic with being able to do it manually seen as after 300/400mm deep We are met with some serious solid ground.

Had a little fun after the tree surgeons had been. A workout i enjoyed to he fair. Apart from all the sap splashing with each hit.

A little project done at my parents house.

Don't stress, dont judge! The pergola joists are being cut back, the detail was experimental.

With massive help from a life long friend Tom Butler from we got this patio, planter and pergola done in my parents garden. Plan was to get it ready for summer parties. Maybe this year!

We did deeper more solid grounds for a blow up hot tub near the tree. And eventually the pergola will house the outside kitchen area.

Even mum and dad grafting on this project as they spread the top soil and layed the new turf.
Kids got involved with the demolition of the old shed. As for grouting the patio! That was a whole family affair.

Eveing and weekend work takes its toll. But the rewards sometimes feel that little sweeter.

A little look back at some hand rails and glass we fitted for a building firm in Royston. (TB construction)

Getting my joiner to router a groove in the base rail and hand rail, sitting the glass in and capping the hand rail on to hold in place. Quite simple and smart having no brackets on view. Easier to achieve with soft wood hand rails that are being painted.

There's a door in here somewhere. This wolly forgot to take a photo to show you.

This is all the same timber yet the variation in colour is incredibly different from one length to another.

Nice little job this one tho.

Finished off a small bathroom for the clients 2 sons. Another builder had done a large part of the renovation on this property. And we've had the pleasure to go around finishing some details off.
