That's certainly not where you expect to find a fishing boat! 😳

One of the most extraordinary images to emerge from Storm Boelo is this fishing boat perched on the harbour wall at Irvine, after being torn from its mooring by the storm.

Meanwhile, along the coast in Largs, there's a major clean-up and drying-out operation underway following flooding in the town centre.

A reminder of just how powerful the sea can be, and how much damage a storm can leave behind.

Friday Property Browsing… and this week you'll need to bring your imagination! 🏡

We're off to the Isle of Bute, where Cranslagmory Farmhouse, near Rothesay, is on the market for offers over £250,000.

Now, let's not pretend it's in pristine condition. Looking at the photographs, there's clearly a fair bit of work waiting for whoever takes it on!

But look beyond the condition of the farmhouse and there's something rather exciting here.

The property comes with around 4.7 acres of land, two substantial traditional byres and a collection of other outbuildings.

Just imagine what those buildings could become. Beautiful barn conversions, holiday accommodation, perhaps a little courtyard of individual cottages, all surrounded by the Bute countryside.

Obviously, planning permission, structural condition and the cost of conversion would all need investigating. And I suspect the renovation budget could make the £250,000 asking price look like the easy bit!

But wouldn't it be wonderful to see the whole place brought back to life?
