We are looking for an enthusiastic internal sales / customer service executive.
The company is a converter of technical adhesive tapes which are supplied to industry, trade and users across the UK and Europe.
From self-adhesive materials sourced around the world we produce bespoke finished formats such as rolls, spools and die-cuts mainly for industrial applications. We are a small business with an appetite to grow and invest.
You'll be expected to:
Deal with telephone and email queries and enquiries
Feel confident talking to professionals about technical products and applications and demonstrate a willingness to learn about their processes.
Calculate prices, summarise pricing, technical details and commercial terms in quotations and follow up with an objective for results.
Be resourceful in finding out any information customer requires like technical info, health and safety data and product specifications.
Grow and develop strong relationships with potential, new and established clients
Understand customers’ business needs and address any issues.
To be continually inquisitive. Identifying, researching and qualifying business opportunities and feeding information back to the team.
Liaise with the production manager providing customers regular updates on order status and delivery dates.
Be proactive as well as reactive, commercially thinking at all times
You will need:
Proven ability to build relationships, with clients and colleagues
Great IT skills (Microsoft office, excel, Database, CRM)
Excellent numerical skills
Inherent desire to learn about a wide variety of products, applications and markets

Proposed start date: Immediate
This is a permanent full-time position, part-time may be considered (pro rata)
Normal hours of work are:
8.00 am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am to 1.00 pm on Friday
30 mins lunch break.
Working from home - occasionally permitted, negotiable
