From tired and heavily coated to clean bare metal 💥

This generator enclosure came in needing a full strip back, so we got it loaded into the blast room and taken right back to fresh steel ready for the next stage.

Years of paint, surface contamination and corrosion removed to leave a clean, even finish throughout — including all the awkward internal sections and framework.

A lot of time goes into jobs like this, but the transformation speaks for itself 👌

Another productive week at Canterbury Blast Works.

We’ve had a strong range of projects through the workshop, including another Triumph chassis, a large fan housing, and a variety of other components — all prepared to a high standard, ready for their next stage.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of collecting this rare Triumph GT6 Mk1 shell ☀️

A classic that doesn’t come around often, and a great example of the kind of projects we’re proud to be involved in. Having already completed the chassis blasting a few weeks back, it’s good to now see the next stage of the build underway.

We’ll be sharing progress as this one develops, with full photos to follow on completion 👀

🚧 Bridge Repair Plates Completed for HRS Rail 🚧

We recently completed an urgent job for HRS Rail, blasting a batch of 60 bridge repair plates to a SA2.5 finish.

The plates were dropped off Thursday and, due to tight deadlines, we turned the job around for collection first thing Monday morning. 💨

All items were prepared to a high standard, ensuring a clean, uniform profile ready for coating.
