With 8 chargepoints delivering up to 300kW, so you can add up to 100 miles of range in around 15-20 minutes - ideal for a comfortable break while you pop into the Co‑op or stretch your legs.

Located just off the A189 towards Blyth and Newcastle, it’s a convenient stop for commuting, shopping trips, or travelling around the region.

You may have noticed your EV slowing right down past 80%? 😩 It’s not being lazy - it’s just looking after itself (a mantra we should all take into 2026).
Here’s the deal.. Charging to 80% keeps your battery happy AND gets you back on the road faster.
Think of it like leaving the pub before that “one last drink”- you’ll thank yourself later.

🏃🏽‍♂️ Faster pit stops: Charging from 20-80% can take the same time as 80-100%, so why hang about?
🔋 Battery care: Lithium-ion batteries love kWs in moderation (even your phone agrees 📱).
🚗 Road-trip rule: Going the distance? That’s when a full 100% makes sense.

Most EVs let you set an 80% limit - perfect for your weekday top-ups. Then, when it’s time for a long drive, you can sip the full 100% for peace of mind for your journey ahead.

Because sometimes 80% full really is 100% smart.

As we reach the Winter Solstice, the days may be at their darkest (and chilliest), but there’s something quietly magical about this time of year. It’s a moment to pause, reset, and look forward to lighter, longer drives ahead.
If you’ve noticed your EV range dipping a little, don’t worry, it’s completely normal. Cold weather affects all vehicles - petrol, diesel, and electric alike - because batteries and engines all have to work harder when temperatures drop.
Here are a few ways to keep your EV happy this winter:
