New hope for those living with drug-resistant epilepsy. ✨

For many, this means a life with fewer seizures and a much quicker journey back to health after surgery.

Many forms of epilepsy are classified as rare diseases, often bringing unique challenges, complex care needs, and a search for answers that can take years.

We stand with the individuals, the families, and the carers who navigate these hurdles with incredible strength. At Epilepsy Alarms UK, we support families and carers by providing the tools they need for safety and independence.

Ground-breaking new research from Glasgow Caledonian University has unveiled a headset that uses AI to detect impending seizures with up to 95% accuracy.

By analysing brainwaves and heart functions, this device could give users vital minutes of warning, allowing them to find a safe space, alert a loved one, and reduce the risk of injury.

While still in development, this is a massive step forward for independent living.
