Finally got to work on the sunamp heat battery yesterday, The unit uses a phase change material to provide Domestic hot water for your home. The unit was coupled up to a Vaillant Aro-Therm ASHP to heat cold water to 60 degrees in seconds !! First impressions are I’m very impressed after running the heat pump for less than 10 mins we had 50 degrees water being delivered ! Back next week to add monitoring equipment to see exactly how effective this is in real life situations.
